Upright, its keynotes are eight in flight, sudden speed, news incoming; reversed, it turns toward arrows mid-air stalled, scattered velocity, the jammed signal. In our engraving the scene keeps the suit's element close: fire rendered in indigo and candle gold, the card's emblems worked into fine copperplate linework with no text on the face.
